Memes #1

I love to laugh. I really do—even if I’m the only one laughing sometimes. So, to amuse myself (and hopefully, a few others in the process), I learned how to create a meme.

In case you need an official definition, a meme is, according to Wikipedia, “an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from person to person within a culture.” You see memes all the time on social media—those graphics that you just love to share on Facebook and Pinterest, with funny pictures, one-liner jokes or inspirational quotes.

I’m still learning (and definitely need to improve my photography and graphic design skills), but I created a few so far. I posted them on my Tweenior Moments Facebook and Pinterest pages, but I wanted to put them on my blog, too, so I’ve compiled them in this roundup post. (If you haven’t already done so, please “like/follow” Tweenior Moments on Facebook/Pinterest. I haven’t yet had the time/energy/desire to dive into Twitter, so don’t look for me there yet.)

I hope they make you smile. If they do, please share them on your social media.

Lisa, you’re too funny! You are writing MY STORY! Yesterday after a long afternoon of running errands, (yep, even the retirees are still running)and laughing until you know what, my friend and I finally returned home and as we got out of the car with three little grocery bags………she gave me my two and then she said, where the h… Is mine? So we start laughing again and looking for hers, only to realize, “Roberta, it’s on your arm”! More laughs and home we went to be tucked in before dark as we are now sure that at our age the Cinderella in us will turn into a pumpkin!
